Brasilia - DF (capital of the Federative Republic of Brazil) will host during 11-14 April 2012, the XXII General Assembly of the Inter-American Masonic Confederation and the 65th anniversary (April 14, 2012) of the IMC.
The Grand Orient of Brazil (the largest Masonic Obedience in Latin America) was tasked with organizing this year's event, as established in the last General Assembly in Colombia. The Grand Master General Marcos José da Silva will be the host the leaders of Latin American Freemasonry for five days.
